Bribie Beach Shack sells a wide range of gear from fishing tackle and bait to anchors and safety equipment. We even offer sun protection with a good selection of hats, sunglasses and sunscreen. We have a range of Marine batteries, boating accessories as well as bags of ice to keep your catch cold. Gas bottle refill is also available. The Beach Shack also has 2 dedicated outboard engine service bays and offers outboard engine service and outboard engine repairs as well as boat repairs and trailer repairs

FISHING, BAIT & TACKLE SHOP

Our wide range of fishing gear, includes rods and tackle, fishing nets, bait pumps and more. Fishing rods can be hired for $10 per day with a boat hire.

BAIT

We have a very well-stocked selection of frozen bait and burley kept within four large bait freezers. 


The Pumicestone Passage near Bribie Island is home to a huge variety of fish including:

  • mackerel
  • tailor
  • whiting
  • snapper
  • cod

and on the local reefs:

  • parrot
  • sweetlip
  • flathead
  • jewfish
  • schools of squid

BATTERIES

We can also supply a full range of deep cycle / gel, boat, car and truck batteries in case your own gear lets you down.

ICE

We sell 5kg bags of ice at the Bribie Beach Shack, so you can keep your drinks cold and your catch fresh.
